Visitor Information
Responsibilities and Conduct On-Site
We warmly welcome visitors to Brockmoor Primary School. To ensure the safety, wellbeing and smooth running of the school, all visitors must follow the procedures outlined below while on site.
These procedures form part of our safeguarding arrangements and help us maintain a safe and secure environment for every member of our school community.
Arriving and Departing the School Site
All visitors must report to the main reception office on arrival.
Visitors should bring proof of identification and any relevant documentation relating to their visit.
Upon arrival, visitors will be asked to sign in using the Inventry electronic visitor system located in the main foyer. You will be required to provide:
• Your name
• The organisation you represent (if applicable)
• The purpose of your visit
Visitors will be issued with a visitor badge, which must be worn at all times while on the school premises.
All visitors must sign out using the Inventry system before leaving the building.
If you have any questions about your visit, please contact the school office team before arrival or speak to a member of staff when you arrive.
Conduct on Site
All visitors are expected to follow these guidelines while on school premises:
• Treat all members of the school community with respect
• Follow safeguarding instructions provided by staff
• Remain accompanied by a member of staff if appropriate safeguarding checks have not been completed
• Do not take photographs or videos of pupils unless authorised by a member of staff
• If working with a pupil individually, ensure doors remain open and the activity remains visible to others
These expectations help ensure that safeguarding remains a priority for everyone on site.
Disabled Visitors and Parking
If you require additional support while visiting the school, please inform the school office before or upon arrival so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
We have a small car park located at the front of the school, which includes electric vehicle charging points for staff, visitors and contractors.
Designated disabled parking bays are available for badge holders.
The school driveway and designated delivery or collection areas must remain clear at all times.
Personal Belongings
Visitors are responsible for the safety and security of their personal belongings while on the school site.
Mobile Phones
To support safeguarding and minimise disruption, mobile phones should not be used inside the school building unless permission has been granted by a member of staff.
Staff may remind visitors of this expectation if phones are used within restricted areas.
